Q: What is the difference between HDR (High Dynamic Range) images and regular photos?
A: High-dynamic-range imaging (HDRI or HDR) is a set of techniques used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques. This adds more "dynamic range" to photographs, where dynamic range is the ratio of light to dark in a photograph. Instead of just taking one photo, HDR uses three photos, taken at different exposures. We then use image editing software to put those three images together and highlight the best parts of each photo. The result is something that should look more like what your eyes see, rather than what your camera sees.
Q: What do you typically photograph?
A: We typically photograph both the inside and outside of the property. Inside we photograph all of the major rooms. We normally do not photograph closets or the garage unless there are special features. Standard photos generally include: front exterior, back exterior and all the major rooms such as living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and bedrooms. If you have special features associated with your property that are not obvious, please let us know and we can be sure to include these.
Q: How much advance notice do you need?
A: We can often go out the next day (or possibly even same day), but several days advance notice is ideal. We’ll always try to fit you in our schedule!
Q: What is your service area?
A: At this time, our service area is central Pinellas county. West from the beaches and East to Tampa bay. North from Clearwater and South to St. Petersburg.
Q: How do you deliver the photographs? How long does it take?
A: We generally can deliver the files within 1 - 2 business days after the shoot. Same day rush jobs may be possible for an additional fee.
Q: How long does it take you to photograph a home or business?
A: It will usually take one to two hours onsite to complete, depending on the size of the property and number of photos desired. Larger jobs may take longer.
Q: What do we need to do to prepare for a photo-shoot?
A: The home should be clean and ready for photos. Things should be put away, and we may move items during the photo session so your photos aren’t cluttered. You should be prepared to assist in moving and arranging personal items that are in the way, or allow us to move personal belongings and items that may have been overlooked when preparing for a photo session.
Q: What kind of payment do you take?
A: We accept all forms of payment, including cash, check, PayPal and all major credit cards.
